Owner Builder
As a San Diego Consulting and Management company, Assist U2 Build™ Inc. supports you as the Owner Builder of your project. You can save thousands acting as the general contractor or you can simply hire us to be your general contractor.

In partnership with Assist U2 Build™ Inc. you:

  • Control how quickly your project is completed
  • Develop a detailed budget giving you complete control of the financing of your project
  • Control payment to tradesmen, keeping the work ahead of the money
  • Decide on your level of day to day involvment
  • Have limitless options of finishes; i.e. countertops, paint, floor covering, cabinets, appliances, etc.
Building Process
Assist U2 Build™ Inc. will help you through each phase of construction for your remodel, custom home or commercial project.
  • Ensuring proper job flow
  • Ensuring compliance of local, state and federal building requirements
  • Protecting you with careful & superior knowledge
The First Phase is Proper Planning.

    During this phase AU2B will help you:

  • Selecting a lot to build your home on
  • Procuring financing to construct your home
  • Referring you to proven, licensed Architects or Draftsmen
  • Acquiring government approval of plans
  • Reviewing plans for potential deficiencies
The Second Phase is Job Costing.

    During this phase AU2B will:

  • Itemizing expenditures required to construct your home
  • Submitting your plans to multiple pre-qualified sub-contractors
  • Collecting a written bid from each sub-contractor
  • Organizing and presenting the most cost effective bids for your review
  • Providing you full disclosure on how much any trade is charging to construct their portion of your project
  • Clearly listing the cost to manage your project
The Third Phase is Contracting.

    During this phase AU2B will:

  • Facilitating the Management Agreement
  • Ensuring all required permits and insurance are in place
  • Processing all contractual agreements with our sub-contractors
The Fourth Phase is Construction.

    During this phase AU2B will:

  • Aggressively bidding out the next trade to achieve the most cost effective method of construction
  • Assigning a Project Manager who will visit your site to review contractors work and progress while addressing potential future issues and taking preventive action
  • Approving each phase of construction to be compliant with building code and the highest standards
  • Creating invoices for our Pay-As-You-Go program
  • Tracking payments to prime contractors to prevent discrepancies
